Kalmyk woman. The Kalmyks are a branch of the western Mongolian (Oirat) people who settled along the Volga River in Russia approx. 400 years ago. Fun Fact: The Republic of Kalmykia (which exists within Russia) is the only Buddhist-majority region in Europe.
